Hello!

Welcome to our new website! I have finally taken the plunge and moved away from our previous one to see if I can get a shop feature underway…

Now, apologies in advance but I’m finding that after moving away from an admin job to follow my stained glass dream, my ability to tolerate certain types of ‘computery’ stuff has got a lot less! And that I cannot take a good photo to save my life… Which kind of makes taking decent photos of my work almost impossible! And that I’m rubbish at social media… Which also makes it rather difficult to get my work out there and in front of you lovely lot!

But I’m going to try and be better. Making stained glass and sharing this fantastic craft with people is something I want to do long term and I know learning to be better with social media is important to that goal. My wonderful sister-in-law Charlie is always telling me to post daily and while I’m not sure I’ll ever be that good (or interesting enough!), I’m going to aim to make more frequent posts. It’s nice to share different projects with people and yes, show off a bit when you’ve finished something you’re really proud of - that’s allowed right?

Being able to actually create something physical; have something you can hold up at the end of the day and say ‘I did that’ feels amazing after so many years of just turning your computer off and not having anything to show for at the end of the day except a longer to do list.

So… not gonna be perfect with the whole blog / social media / posting / Insta / Facebook thing, especially as I’m too busy trying to be perfect with the whole soldering thing… but please bear with me because I’m going to try :-)
